wandering weekend

He offered to take me out to a nice dinner; wine, fancy appetizers, a "cool" scene...
But when we walked by and scoped it... it looked a bit too trendy for my tastes...
So I suggested beers from the liquor store and pizza around the corner...

He came shopping with me... and it was the worst kind of shopping...
jean shopping.
Tedious, time consuming, opinion needing jean shopping.
He was nothing but sweet...
and he didn't even get to see inside the Kate Spade dressing room...
as that would surely make anyone happier.

Then we rode down to the library's seasonal $1 all you can haul book sale.
The best find was my coffee table book, "American Yachting in Pictures".
It's a gem for a few pennies.

Then the beach... we walked a lot on the beach...

and mimosas... I drank a few mimosas

and downtown LA.
We wandered around
and saw a bad show at the Nokia Club.


Overall, a wandering blissful weekend.
